Fisherman’s Cottage

Design: Clare Mengler in collaboration with Wandoo Design & Construction

An unconventional semi-restoration of a dilapidated rambling worker’s cottage front, a courtyard and a brand new rear extension in new and recycled materials including reclaimed corrugated iron, timber weatherboards and recycled jarrah joinery. Walls to new part include timber-framed double cavity for extra insulation. Detailing of cladding, eaves, flooring and breezeway windows in old style throughout.
